Photovoltaic technology project, located in the municipality of Kushiro, Hokkaido prefecture, on the northern island of the country. With an area of about 148 hectares, the power output is 75 MWp. Although Kushiro is considered a somewhat low solar radiation region in Japan, the efficiency of solar power generation equipment remains sufficiently high, especially with recent advances in solar panel technology.
Hokkaido is a region active in the promotion of renewable energy. Policies aimed at local environmental protection and sustainable energy use are also being implemented in Kushiro, and subsidies and incentives from the local government can be expected.
